Isaac and Noel Page 3
“None,” he said, heart beating hard as Isaac slid his fingers into his hair and tugged him close, until his mouth touched the tip of Isaac’s dick.
“What did you say?”
“I dated,” he said in self-defense. “But I didn’t trust the guys I went out with to go that far. I wanted my first time to matter.”
“Then I’ll make sure to give you an experience you’ll never forget.”
He kissed the crown of Isaac’s dick, stuck out his tongue, and licked the pre-cum there. Hearing the Alpha lion shifter let out rumble of what sounded like appreciation spurred him on. He licked, sucked, and explored the length of the Alpha’s cock, before opening his mouth and taking Isaac’s prick between his lips.
Noel hollowed out his cheeks, gagged on the first try, but managed to succeed the second time, taking every inch down his throat. He bobbed his head up and down, relished every groan of pleasure that Isaac emitted. He wanted to hear his lion king purr for him.
At the tug of his hair, he paused.
“Hold still,” Isaac ordered.
A thrill crept down his spine. Noel never envisioned liking anyone giving him orders, but it felt right, following Isaac’s commands. Isaac’s dominant lion called to the submissive Omega wolf inside of him. Isaac thrust his prick in and out of his mouth. His own dick by then curved upwards against his belly. With a last push, Isaac unloaded his jazz inside his mouth. Noel sucked down all of it, careful to not spill a drop.
He settled on his knees, watched the Alpha lion shifter’s expression, that of satisfaction.
“On fours, Omega.” As soon as Isaac gave that order, the Alpha lion shifter flipped him on his hands and knees. He didn’t resist one bit, didn’t want to. Noel couldn’t wait to feel Isaac’s massive shaft inside him, filling his ass completely.
Noel faced the glass, the city. God. What a view. He felt Isaac position himself behind him. The Alpha didn’t prep him yet, merely reached between his legs, fondled his tormented cock.
“Isaac,” he murmured, couldn’t speak as the Alpha began playing with his dick. Isaac squeezed and tugged. One pinch of his tip and Noel climaxed. His mind clouded over, and he spilled his load into Isaac’s waiting hand.
Chapter 5
Hearing Noel come only woke up Isaac’s dick. Good thing they were both shifters and recovered fast, because Isaac could go on rutting his Omega all night.
“That feels good,” Noel murmured.
“Hearing you come undone is just the first step. I intend to make you fly, Omega.” Isaac pushed one digit inside Noel’s hole, surprised to find Noel already slick and ready for it. Omega lion shifters were self-lubricating, but he didn’t know that applied to Omega werewolves as well. “So convenient.”
“What?”
“I’m talking about your perfect genes. You being always ready for me without the need for a lube creates plenty of possibilities.”
“Possibilities?”
It seemed Isaac had reduced his Omega to one-word answers. Good. Isaac liked the fact he had that effect on Noel, because he had every intention of keeping Noel all to himself. He added a second, then a third finger. Isaac must have brushed against Noel’s prostate, because the Omega arched his back. Whimpered. Such a sweet sound. When Noel came earlier, he’d let out soft moans. Not a loud wolf in bed then.
Isaac pushed against that special place again, dick hardening at every sound of pleasure that Noel emitted. “So responsive.”
“Take me already, Alpha. Please.”
Noel was his fated his mate, born to be his. Isaac knew that now, knew it from the moment he wandered into the slums and heard Noel scream. It didn’t matter that killing those two hyena shifters bastards would ignite a war that might tear an entire city apart. His lions were hungry for blood anyway, were always ready to brawl. Isaac would also be able to avenge his brother. In a way, this was a very sweet deal for him.
“Tell me how much you want me,” he reminded Noel.
“I want you.”
That answer pleased Isaac immensely. He began stroking his prick, which was already at half-mast. Thinking of taking Noel for the first time made him hard in seconds. He couldn’t wait to plow his Omega, claim every inch of Noel. Once he conquered Noel’s body, he wouldn’t be satisfied.
Isaac also wanted Noel’s heart and soul. His everything. In return, Isaac would do the same. He’d stay faithful to his one true mate until his demise. His pride might be confused at first, angry even that their Alpha didn’t take a lion shifter for a mate, but they’d soon see the bigger picture. That Noel was created to complete him. His pride.
“First and only,” Isaac said in a firm voice. “I don’t share. I’ll rip out the throat of any asshole who so much as looks at you wrong. I’m possessive by nature, but that also means I’ll protect you from any harm. You’re untouchable, Noel.
“Only you can touch me,” Noel whispered. “I like the sound of that.”
“Very good, Omega. That’s exactly right.”
Isaac pulled out his digits, replaced them with his cock. He positioned his prick into Noel’s puckered hole, so ripe for the taking. He gripped Noel’s hips, pushed in a few inches, heard Noel cry out.
“Take it, baby. I promise you it will only hurt for a little while, but I’ll make you feel better.”
“I trust you.”
Isaac swore he’d never betray that gift. After pushing past the first stubborn inches, he slid all the way home. Isaac rested his balls against the curve of Noel’s ass, stayed there for a few seconds, relishing the feel of Noel’s tight muscles clamping down on his shaft. He began to move, sure but steady strokes at first, before speeding up. Every grunt and groan that emerged from Noel’s lips only made his balls close to bursting.
“Fuck,” he said, pounding fervently in and out of Noel. “Your ass feels so damn good around my dick, baby.”
Noel only answered him with a moan. The Omega lifted his hips towards him, met him for every thrust. He reached between Noel’s legs, stroked Noel’s cock. The Omega gasped, then came, filling his hand with his cum. Isaac breached Noel a few more times, before spilling ropes of his seed into Noel’s ass.
He could see it now, when the dream never once entered his mind before. A dream Isaac couldn’t even fathom, because he didn’t dare to. Isaac waited, searched over the years for his other half, his better half, nearly resigned himself to his lonely fate, but it looked like destiny answered his prayers after all.
A promising future. A family for a ruthless king and his mate. Isaac could see Noel and him years from now, surrounded by a mix of wolf and lion cubs. He’d protect them at all costs, he realized. Make sure that vision of tomorrow would come to pass.
They collapsed on the cold floor, but he’d warm his mate up with his body. Isaac pulled Noel into an embrace.
“I don’t mind belonging to you,” Noel said, cuddling closer to him. The feel of Noel’s warm lithe body against his bigger one felt like heaven. Sheer indulgence, because a man like him had many enemies.
“Do you understand what belonging to me means?” he had to ask Noel. Isaac didn’t want to ruin the tender moment, but Noel needed to know the reality of his situation.
Noel turned and Isaac relaxed his hold so his Omega could look him in the eye. Isaac began stroking the curve of Noel’s arm while he waited for the Omega’s answer. The gesture seemed to relax Noel because the Omega’s eyes grew heavy-lidded.
“What do I need to know?” Noel finally asked. “Isaac, I’ve never felt like this about any other man. I know we’re strangers, but something about us just clicks. I don’t have any other word for it.”
“It’s because we belong to each other. My lion knows it, so does your wolf.” Isaac cut to the chase. “We’re mates.”
Noel widened his eyes. “Mates? But I’m a nobody.”
“You’re not. Any other unmated Omega cornered by three hyena shifters would’ve have cowered, given in, but you fought for your life.”
Noe
l bit on his lower lip. Too tempting. Isaac leaned over, kissed Noel senseless, before continuing, “In time, you’ll see how strong you are.”
“But I heard lion shifters don’t usually cross breed with other shifter groups,” Noel said. “I don’t mind being your pet—”
“Don’t,” he interrupted. “You’re so much more than petty distraction, Noel. I won’t lie to you. My pride will have issues with me taking an Omega werewolf for a mate, but in time they’ll come to respect my choice. There’s also my enemies to consider.”
“Oh God. Those hyena shifters. The Bloody Claws gang won’t take it lightly. They’ll come after you, and it’s all because of me,” Noel said in a small voice.
“Listen to me,” Isaac said, lifting Noel’s chin. “My war with the hyenas is bound to happen.”
“What do you mean?”
“I’m pretty certain their leader, Russ Marsh, was the one who ordered my brother’s shooting.”
Noel blinked, looked shocked. “He was?”
He nodded. “A shifter Alpha would usually challenge another Alpha in a fair fight. Resorting to something spineless like hiring a sniper to do the job for him sounds exactly like something Marsh would do.”
“That’s so dishonorable. I’m so sorry about your brother,” Noel said, hugging him, the move taking him by surprise.
The fact that this Omega would offer him comfort after the hellish ordeal Noel had gone through only cemented the fact that Isaac found a treasure. One he intended to protect at all costs. Once word got to Marsh that he’d taken Noel in, the hyena Alpha would see Noel as his weak link. A kink in his armor. Didn’t matter, because Isaac would be ready for whatever Marsh threw his way.
“We weren’t close,” he explained. “Sebastian and I always fought fangs and claws. I moved away because this city was too small for the both of us, but he was my only living flesh and blood. My family has held this city for generations. I intend to take it back from the Bloody Claws.”
“Come to think of it, before the Bloody Claws had taken the slums as their territory, the streets were less dangerous. I mean, I was scared all the time, because of what I am, but now, I’m terrified of even going back home.”
Isaac snarled. He couldn’t imagine living his life the way Noel did. “You don’t need to live in fear anymore, because I’m here. I won’t let anything happen to you.”
“Thank you, Isaac.”
“Don’t thank me yet,” Isaac said grimly. “Not until every single member of the Bloody Claws gang is dead.”
Chapter 6
“Noel, thank God you’re okay.” Those were the first words Teddy told him as Noel opened the door to his apartment.
Standing right behind him, Jim, the scarred-up and massive lion shifter bodyguard Isaac assigned to him, grunted. Isaac also told him that he’d planted another lion shifter close by, to watch for any potential threat.
“I’ll be right outside,” Jim told him. The lion shifter closed the front door, finally leaving him alone with his brother. Teddy walked up to him, gave him a tight hug, before looking him up and down.
Teddy grimaced. “You look awful.”
“Actually, I must’ve looked worse before. Isaac’s healer patched me up good,” he said in a light tone. The last thing he wanted to do was worry Teddy. His brother must’ve seen through his act, because Teddy punched him on the shoulder. “Ow.”
“Serves you right. Do you have any idea how worried I was, when Isaac called me? I thought he’d taken you captive.”
Noel shook his head. “Teddy, it’s the exact opposite. He saved me. If he didn’t arrive, those hyena shifters would have done God knew what to me, before handing me to their boss.”
Teddy paled at those words.
“Let’s sit down for this,” Noel suggested.
He grabbed a beer from the fridge, took a sip, before joining his brother on the couch. Noel knew Teddy’s finals were coming up, and it was a Saturday. Usually, Teddy spent all his weekends at the library. Noel knew his brother was probably too worried about him to focus on his studies.
“Noel,” Teddy began. “Isaac Rowland is a dangerous man, as scary as the Bloody Claws Alpha.”
He shook his head adamantly. “No, they’re completely different.”
“How are they different?” Teddy demanded. “Noel, you’re all lovey-dovey and relaxed. This isn’t like you at all. That Alpha must’ve done something to you. Made you complacent.”
That angered Noel for some reason. “I make my own choices. Always. I’m not as weak as you think.”
Teddy blew out a breath. “That’s not what I meant.”
“You do. I know I’m an Omega, but not all Omegas are cowards and pushovers.”
“Noel,” Teddy began, reaching for his hands. “I’m sorry. Those were the wrong words to use. I’ve always respected you, looked up to you. It couldn’t have been easy, raising me alone after Dad died, but I’m only worried about you.”
Noel took a deep breath, tried to see the situation from Teddy’s perspective. “I get it. I just met Isaac, and already, I’m acting like a drunken fool, but, Teddy, he’s my mate.”
Teddy widened his eyes. “Are you sure?”
“Positive.”
“But he’s a lion and we’re wolves.”
“Isaac heard me cry out last night. His lion knew instinctively I’m his. The Omega wolf inside me knows it’s true. Every moment I spend with him, I become more certain.” Noel spared his brother about the more intimate details of last night.
Teddy slumped against the couch, looking shocked. “Wow. I never really believed in the whole mating thing, especially after Mom left us when we were kids.”
“Me neither,” Noel admitted. “But meeting Isaac’s made me a believer.”
“So what’s going to happen now?” Teddy asked.
“I’m planning on moving in with Isaac.” Noel hesitated, and went on, wondering if Teddy with agree with Isaac’s decision. “He’s offered to put you up in a better apartment, in a safer neighborhood.”
Teddy began to open his mouth, but Noel wasn’t finished. “The Bloody Claws would probably be after all of us, especially after Isaac killed two of their members to save me. Me being Isaac’s mate is also another reason why they’d gun for us.”
“I hear those hyena shifters go after the loved ones of their targets,” Teddy said. “I don’t mind moving to a new place, if that means we’ll be safe.”
“Isaac will also assign one of his lion shifters to watch you.”
Teddy groaned. “A bodyguard? For real?”
“He’s experienced with combat,” he said. “And he’ll probably know what to do if a dangerous situation arises.”
“Fine, but I want to meet Isaac. See if he’s the genuine article,” Teddy said.
Noel nodded. “Sounds fair. I think Isaac would want to meet you, too.”
* * * *
“Your meeting with your brother, did it go well?” Isaac asked as he entered the apartment.
Jim updated him throughout the day about Noel’s movements, and he trusted the senior pride member to guard his precious mate. Isaac undid his tie. Exhaustion bogged his entire body. When Sebastian died, Isaac also had to take over his brother’s legal business. Well, technically, Sebastian inherited from their father, but it was his brother who grew it from a small local shipping firm to a global one.
Easing his brother’s company employees into new management wasn’t exactly a cake walk. At the same time, he needed to make sure every pride mate he took with him was settling down in Crawford City just fine.
“It did, although Teddy wants to meet you. If that’s okay.”
“Of course it is.”
“Here,” Noel said.
Isaac blinked, realizing his little Omega had somehow led him to the dining room. Seeing the feast on the table, his stomach growled. Noel took a seat next to him. Did Noel both set the table and prepare the delicious steak in front of him? “My housekeeper didn’t prepare th
is.”
Noel smiled shyly at him. Suddenly, Isaac felt rejuvenated. All the problems he’d tackled earlier that day, meaningless. “I hope you don’t mind. I wanted to thank you, for last night. So after I visited my brother, I went grocery shopping.”
“How did convince Mrs. Moss?” he asked. “That woman might be human, but she can be damn bossy.”
“Oh. I have my ways. Actually, she’s pretty nice once I got her talking about her grandkids,” Noel explained.
Isaac picked up his knife and fork, took a thick slice of his steak, and moaned his approval. “Very nice.”
“Thank you.”
They ate in silence for a few minutes, with Isaac savoring every bite of the dinner Noel made him.
“I also applied for a new job. At the supermarket,” Noel said after they both finished eating.
Isaac narrowed his eyes at his Omega. “We’ve talked about this.”
“No, you just quit my job for me.” Noel seemed serious about this, Isaac realized.
He snarled softly. Stubborn Omega. His first instinct was to refuse, but would that only make Noel resent him? Most submissive or Omega shifters he’d met usually liked their dominant partner taking care of all their needs. They were spoiled in some ways, but of course, his Noel was different. He counted to ten in his head. Noel kept sneaking hopeful glances at him, as if wondering if Isaac was going to explode any moment.
“You won’t work at a supermarket.” Noel glowered at him, but Isaac raised a finger. “You can be my personal assistant. The pay will probably be a lot better, and there’s dental and healthcare included.”
Noel blinked a few times, as if he was making sure Isaac wasn’t jerking his chain. “For real?”
Isaac nodded. “I doubt I’ll be able to change your mind anyway, and besides, it’d ease my mind if you worked close to me. No special treatments, I promise. I’ll treat you like any other employee.”
Noel practically bounced from his seat and slid right to his lap. Isaac grinned, easily shoving his chair back. He wrapped his arms around Noel’s waist, preventing Noel from falling off.
